Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: March 10, 2026
WheelYield.com is a participant in affiliate programs with brokerage firms and financial service providers. When you click certain links on our site and open an account or make a purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 guidelines on endorsements and testimonials.
Table of Contents
1. Affiliate Relationship Statement
WheelYield.com (“the Site”, “we”, “us”) is an independently operated website that provides free options calculators, educational content, and strategy guides. We participate in affiliate marketing programs with select brokerage firms and financial service providers.
This means that some of the links on our Site — particularly those to brokerage platforms on our broker comparison pages and “Open Account” buttons — are affiliate links. If you click through one of these links and subsequently open an account, fund an account, or complete another qualifying action, we may receive a referral commission from that company.
2. How Affiliate Links Work
When you click an affiliate link on WheelYield.com, a tracking cookie is placed in your browser that identifies us as the referral source. If you complete a qualifying action (such as opening and funding a brokerage account) within the cookie's duration, we receive a commission from the brokerage firm.
Affiliate links on WheelYield.com are typically found in:
- Broker comparison sections and call-to-action buttons
- “Open Account” or “Try [Broker Name]” links within educational content
- Dedicated broker review or recommendation pages
- Footer and sidebar promotional placements
3. Current Affiliate Partners
We currently maintain or are in the process of establishing affiliate relationships with the following brokerage firms and financial service providers:
| Partner | Relationship Type |
|---|---|
| Interactive Brokers | Affiliate referral program |
| Tastytrade | Affiliate referral program |
| Charles Schwab | Affiliate referral program |
| Webull | Affiliate referral program |
| Amazon Associates | Affiliate referral program (books & resources) |
This list may be updated as we add or remove affiliate partnerships. Not all listed partners may have active links on the Site at any given time.
Amazon Associates Disclosure
WheelYield.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Book recommendations and resource links to Amazon include affiliate tags, and we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
4. Editorial Independence
Our affiliate relationships do not influence our educational content, calculator functionality, or analysis.
Specifically:
- Calculator results are generated by mathematical models and real-time market data. Affiliate partnerships have zero influence on calculated yields, probabilities, or recommendations.
- Educational articles, strategy guides, and the wheel strategy guide are written based on genuine trading knowledge and experience, not promotional considerations.
- Stock analysis pages display objective market data regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with any broker.
- We do not accept payment in exchange for favorable reviews or recommendations of any product or service.
5. No Additional Cost to You
Using our affiliate links does not cost you anything extra. The commissions we receive come from the brokerage firm's marketing budget, not from your account or trades. You receive the same account terms, pricing, and features whether you sign up through our link or directly through the broker's website.
In some cases, our affiliate partners may offer promotional bonuses or incentives to new customers referred through our links. These promotions are set by the broker and are subject to their terms and conditions.
6. Our Recommendation Policy
We only recommend brokers we have personally evaluated. Our criteria for recommending a brokerage platform include:
- Competitive options commission structure suitable for frequent sellers
- Robust options chain data and order entry tools
- Reliable trade execution and order fill quality
- Support for the specific strategies our users employ (CSPs, covered calls, multi-leg orders)
- Reasonable margin requirements and cash-secured put support
- Regulatory compliance and financial stability (SIPC member)
We will not recommend a broker solely because they offer a higher commission to us. If a broker provides an inferior experience for options sellers, we will not include them on our Site regardless of potential affiliate revenue.
